Christian Nurture

In addition to our regular Sunday worship services, we are activlely involved in providing additional nurture opportunities at our church for all age groups. We also offer Ecumenical events by teaming up with other local churches in the area. God has called to be in fellowship with one another and through these nurture activities, new friendships will be formed, bonds will develop and soon you will find yourself being drawn closer to our God & Savior Jesus Christ and your relationship with Him will grow.

We will use this page to keep you informed of the nurture activities that are available and to update you with some of the exciting news that come from these nurture opportunities.

Each Wednesday evening @ 7:00 PM we meet for an hour of adult nurture typically with a special theme. It is a time to learning a biblical lesson, sharing our thoughts over the lesson & prayer. The weekly newsletter (see Quick Link) details the theme for the current week. Come, come spend an hour with us. You will be pleased that you did! Childcare is always provided.

A summer time treat we always look forward to is the annual June pig roast / potluck. Everyone gets into the event from bringing as passing dish, helping to set up, cooking & entertaining, cleaning up, etc. Kids and adults love the special activities we set aside for after dinner. It is a great time for having fun and spending time together!

All Ladies, please join us on Tuesday, August 14^th at 6pm for dinner and Bible study. We will meet at the Eagles’ Nest at Clarklake for dinner and then (weather permitting!) we’ll have our Bible study on the pontoon. We will study Acts 21 - 24 this month. This study is the continuation of Paul’s journey to Rome and the plot against Paul’s life. JOIN US AND FIND OUT WHAT “WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY AND FELLOWSHIP” IS ALL ABOUT!!

Have you checked out the Children’s Garden? It’s growing a lot!! Feel free to weed a row if the mood strikes you. The kids weed it each Sunday and every week a different family is in charge of watering. We recently picked our first zucchini!

From Fall thru Spring we come together once a month in the fellowship hall for dinner and a time for song, making a fun craft and simply enjoying each others company. Friendships really abound and the food is always great! Bring the entire family!
